On November 3, the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies at Indiana University Bloomington welcomed Masashi Mizobuchi, Consul-General of Japan in Chicago, for an official campus visit and public lecture titled “U.S.-Japan Relations & Japan’s Midwest Connections.”Organized by Adam Liff, Hamilton Lugar School professor and founding director of the school’s 21st Century Japan Politics and Society Initiative (21JPSI), the visit allowed for the consul-general and his staff to meet with university and school leadership, faculty, and students for a day of meaningful dialogue and engagement.
