Since its establishment in 2018, 21JPSI hosts several events each year, including an interdisciplinary “Japan Politics and Society” speaker series, public conferences and collaborative webinars (see below) to facilitate discussions about domestic and foreign policy challenges facing Japan and the United States, and academic manuscript workshops to support research by U.S.- and Japan-based social scientists. Additionally, 21JPSI organizes various social engagements on campus with our speakers and among the university and local Japan-interested community.
